It was 45 Miles from Nags Head and I couldn't have loved it more. The Owners are extremely friendly and helpful. They go out of their way, to make sure you are enjoying yourself and relaxing.
This place was outstanding!
It's a great place to escape. Cozy cabins with great views and seconds of walking to the water for fishing. Owners are friendly and helpful. Each cabin has Dish TV, wifi and Roku players. Each cabin has a full kitchen. Poor cell service unless you have Verizon or US Cellular. Cabins have long stairwell. Only the small one bedroom on is recommended for disabled. One one bedroom and three two bedroom cabins available. Boat launch accessible. Has a pier to fish from as well as a bank and patio area. Fire pit available. Great for fishing, bear hunting and duck hunting. Or just a quiet getaway
I would recommend this place to anyone, who wants to Kayak and Fish. They also rent during Duck Season...
A little isolated, but peacefull, on the water, very relaxing! You can fish, Kayack, read a book, enjoy being with your family. Accommodations are great, everything in the cabin you could possibly need. Owners live on the property also, they are wonderful, if you need anything all you have to do is ask. Never stayed anywhere that was this accommodating, great place! Have enjoyed our stay

My husband, daughter and I stayed here this past week. it was the PERFECT place for someone looking for solace and an escape from reality. We met with Karen and her husband and they were nothing but wonderful. Her husband is the nicest man who even took my husband fishing on his boat one morning, showed him all the great fishing spots in the area. Karen and her husband both checked in on us during our week there and made sure if we ever needed anything they were available. Karen did an AMAZING job stocking the lodge with ALL basic necessities, from pots and pans and baking dishes to cleaning stuff and all linens etc. They also have a grill which is charcoal so we just brought our own charcoal, and they also have a firepit which is perfect for smores nights, it also comes with forks for roasting mallows etc, it's like they thought of everything. If you have a boat, this is the perfect set up, because not only is there a boat launch on their property but because of the no tides in the area my husband was able to keep his boat in the water all week long which made life sooooo easy instead of taking it out each day. It was literally a slice of heaven for a week. For anyone who is hunting or fishing this is the perfect place. We will definitely consider coming back again and will definitely spread the word about this little gem tucked away.
